The new portal provides simplified access to more than 30 forms and the submission of applications or communications quickly and securely.
The Authority for Working Conditions (ACT https://portal.act.gov.pt/Pages/Home.aspx) launched this Monday a new Internet portal and a mobile application that provides users with several simulators for labor issues and online submission of documents.
Among the tools available on the portal are simulators on “vacation, absences due to death of a family member, organization of occupational safety and health services, compensation for termination of employment contract, compensation for training credits and communication of termination of contract and existence of asbestos to help workers and employers.
The new portal also provides simplified access to more than 30 forms and the submission of applications or communications quickly and securely via authentication methods such as the Mobile Digital Key.
The mobile application, which can be downloaded from AppStore and PlayStore, also simplifies access to the main ACT services, including the submission of inspection requests, as well as various information and simulators.
“These projects result from a strategy of greater simplicity and proximity in ACT’s communication in promoting better working conditions in Portugal. The new portal becomes available on the day that marks the World Worker’s Day and the entry into force of the Decent Work Agenda,” says the note released today.
