Minister says audit of Santa Casa Global must be completed by the end of January

The company responsible for the audit of Santa Casa Global, on the process of internationalization of social games, has until the end of January to deliver the final report, Minister Ana Mendes Godinho said today.

According to the Minister of Labor, Solidarity and Social Security, the date was decided by the Board of Santa Casa da Misericórdia de Lisboa (SCML), the administrative body made up of the provider, vice-provider and four other members, but she did not explain why.

Ana Mendes Godinho was being heard in the Committee on Labor, Social Security and Inclusion, following a PSD request on Santa Casa Global’s investments, in which she revealed that on January 4, 2024, she received “an audit report in its ‘evolving’ version” from the Ombudsman Ana Jorge, and that the SCML Ombudsman said that the final report “had not yet been concluded and that she was waiting for the final version”.

“The information I have is that the Board of the Santa Casa has decided that the audit must be delivered by the end of January,” said the minister.
