A man of approximately 60 years old died today in Perafita, Matosinhos, after falling from a height of about 20 meters at the local Wastewater Treatment Plant, according to a source from the Matosinhos-Leça Fire Department who spoke to Lusa.
The accident occurred around 1:30 PM, and according to the source, the man, who was working at the time, suffered multiple injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The body was subsequently transported to the Institute of Legal Medicine in Porto, the source added.
The PSP (Public Security Police) is handling the incident.
